| Both the UV-700 and UV-1200 are efficient for small commercial and restaurant applications too. As water passes through the ultra-violet chamber, the powerful UV rays kill disease causing micro-organisms, including bacteria and viruses with a 99.9% kill rate. No chemicals are added and the PH of the water remains unchanged.
Our sterilizers operate continuously and automatically with no need to heat or cool the source water. They are inexpensive to operate, simple to install and practically maintenance-free. Lamp replacement is necessary every 10-12 months and is a simple 10 minute procedure.
UV Monitor
This electronic safety device monitors lamp output and triggers the audible alarm when lamp output falls below recommended levels. Available in both 120V / 60Hz and 240V / 50 Hz.

We recommend that the Ultraviolet
Disinfection System be installed downstream of a Triangular
Wave Deposit Control System. The Deposit Control will keep the UV
Disinfection System electrodes free of scale and other deposits for more
effective results. And, at the same time, the Deposit Control System will
help eliminate scale and biofilm deposits through the entire water system.
Without the Triangular Wave
Deposit Control System in place, the quartz sleeve may develop either a
layer of scale or slime. In either case, it is necessary to periodically
clean the quartz sleeve with an acid solution. The Deposit Control System
eliminates the need for periodic cleaning.
